Reports directly to the Manager of Campus Security to promote and maintain safety and security. Acts as the first point of contact for visitors and students, coordinating parking enforcement and visitor check‑in. Provides administrative support for all campus parking operations.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge: Campus policies; parking operations and customer‑service workflows (preferred).
- Skill: Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other required software.
- Skill: Strong verbal and written communication; able to interact effectively with students, staff, faculty, and external contacts.
- Skill: Excellent customer‑service orientation, working with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability: Demonstrate a commitment to an organization that values humanism.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Minimum 1–2 years of administrative, clerical, customer‑service, or operations support work.
- Experience delivering services to the public.
- Experience with parking databases, ticketing systems, or inventory management.
- Serve as liaison between Security and Parking Enforcement; perform daily patrols with golf cart.
- Ensure student/employee compliance with campus parking policies.
- Administer visitor check‑in processes and manage visitor permits.
- Coordinate parking for on‑campus special events.
- Issue, track, troubleshoot, and reconcile parking permits in parking systems.
- Represent parking operations at meetings as needed.
- Maintain parking inventory and reorder supplies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Occasional after‑hours and weekend work.
- Minimum $23.15 /hour
- Maximum $24.12 /hour
Essential functions include frequent use of hands and arms, operating a vehicle, walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lb with assistance. Work involves both indoor and outdoor settings with moderate noise levels. A valid driver’s license is required, and a Motor Vehicle Report must meet the Western
U Vehicle Use Policy.
