Overview

Activities Aide -
Providence St. Joseph Medical Center at St Joseph Assisted Living Ctr-Polson

Schedule: Per Diem, Variable Shift, 6 hours per week (working weekends and assist otherwise as needed)

The Activity Aide makes decisions and works underneath the direction of and in coordination with the Senior Activities Aide as well as a staff team member to provide activities that meet the needs of the residents and staff emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. The Activity Aide creates a friendly and cooperative atmosphere for residents, visitors and PSJAL personnel. The Activity Aide must maintain poise in stressful situations and continually exhibit outstanding public relations skills.

Requires some weekend and evening time.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Upon hire:
    National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6 months working in a health care facility
  • 1 year experience as a certified nurse assistant

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
