The Mammography Technologist will assist the radiologist(s) and primary practitioners by obtaining the best possible mammograms and general radiographs for interpretation according to departmental policies and procedures. The Mammography Technologist will also perform tasks and duties as outlined in the Radiology Department's Policy and Procedure Manual. Will assist in assigned administrative tasks and will maintain clinical competencies (including diagnostic and invasive procedures) through participation in educational and orientation programs.

Required Qualifications
  • Education required to receive MSRT
  • Montana Radiologic Technologist upon hire
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
  • National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 1 year of hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
