The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in leading the day‑to‑day operations and maintaining a high standard of customer service. The role ensures the store runs efficiently, staff are motivated, and customers receive a positive experience.

Pocatello,  – $50,400.00–$58,000.00 (Full‑time, Mid‑Senior level)

• Perform management duties as assigned or in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Direct and prioritize the work of store personnel.
• Motivate, encourage, and challenge employees.
• Assist the Store Manager with recruiting, hiring, and training staff.
• Ensure all employees deliver excellent customer service.
• Resolve customer complaints timely and professionally.
• Enforce daily operating procedures to keep the store clean, stocked, and organized.
• Prepare food & drinks.
• Maintain a safe work environment, including loss‑prevention duties.
• Properly clean and maintain equipment.
• Ensure proper sale and accounting for all products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Age 19 or older to sell tobacco and alcohol.
• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Positive outgoing personality and strong customer‑service skills.
• Proficient in operating an electronic cash register, computer, and basic arithmetic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work in varying outdoor climates and cooler in‑store environments.
• Physical ability to stand, lift, bend, reach, and walk as required.
