Description:

This position is for a registered nurse specializing in telemetry.
The nurse will work on a progressive care unit providing care to adult and geriatric patients.
The unit has a daily census of approximately 23 patients.
Patient diagnoses may include heart failure, stroke, respiratory failure, and renal failure.
The nurse will manage complex patient conditions, including those recovering from cardiac procedures.
Key skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, and central line management.
Isolation precautions and PPE knowledge are essential.
The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
The nurse may have to float between units and cover occasional weekends.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role.

Experience with emergent cardioversion and central line placement is beneficial.
The nurse must have the ability to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration.
The position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
