Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position at a Level II Trauma, comprehensive stroke center facility, requiring ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications with night shift availability.

Job Details

• 24-bed Progressive Care/Stepdown/Telemetry unit,

• Comprehensive stroke center, Level II Trauma, and Chest Pain Accredited facility with capability for complex PCI and open-heart surgery patient care,

• Patient ratio of 1:3-4,

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:45-07:15,

• Epic EMR used; experience preferred,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active  compact RN license required,

• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS,

• Minimum 1-2 years of RN experience required,

• Epic charting experience preferred,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,

Additional Information

• No travel pairs or groups accepted for this position,

• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler,

• Up to 3 days of RTO may be approved; no RTO permitted during the first week of orientation,

• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration,
