Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position at a comprehensive stroke center and Level II Trauma facility, requiring ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications with night shift availability.

Job Details

• 24-bed Progressive Care/Stepdown/Telemetry unit,

• Comprehensive stroke center, Level II Trauma, and Chest Pain Accredited facility,

• Patient population includes complex PCI and open-heart surgery patients,

• Patient ratio of 1:3-4,

• Epic EMR used (experience preferred),

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM,

Job Requirements

• Active  Compact RN license required at time of consideration,

• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS,

• Minimum 1-2 years of RN experience required,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,

Additional Information

• Travel pairs or groups will not be considered for this position,

• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler,

• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation,

• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration,
