Position: Custodian Full-Time

* Restroom Cleaning – sanitize and clean all toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls & doors. Restock supplies. Collect trash and replace liners. Sweep and mop floor. Follow cross-contamination procedures.
* Office Cleaning – sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule.
* Halls and High Traffic area Cleaning – sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule.
* Entrances and Exits Cleaning – sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean entry doors according to schedule.
* Trash – Empty trash in office areas, lunchrooms, coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker according to schedule.
* Supply Restocking – restock supplies according to schedule.
* Dusting – dusting in restrooms, shower/locker areas, according to schedule.
* Stairwell Cleaning – sweep, mop, vacuum, and wipe handrails according to schedule.
* Shower Cleaning – clean all shower stalls, damp wipe for dust, restock supplies, mop floors following cross contamination procedures
* Janitorial Supply Closet/Locker – keep clean and organized.
* Mopping Wet/Dry – wet/dry mop each floor according to schedule
* Sweeping – sweep each area according to schedule
* Communicating with Customers – always be courteous and communicate in a professional manner when talking with customers.
* Driving – must be a safe driver aware of all surroundings while abiding by all the governing regulations and will use ground guides when backing ANY Skookum owned and operated vehicles.  When alone, responsible for checking vehicle surroundings prior to backing
* Will be required to work with any janitorial personnel and on any route at any given moment due to callouts and mission tempo change.
* Must maintain a positive team environment when working alone or with others
* All Other Duties as Assigned.
* High School Diploma/GED required
* 0 – 3 years of previous custodian or janitorial experience preferred
* Combination of experience and education will be considered
* Must be able to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
* May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
* Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
* Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
* A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
