- Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's tertiary care and Level II Trauma Center, housing the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue.
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in need of urgent medical attention.
- Responsible for quickly assessing and triaging patients, and for developing and implementing effective treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Primary focus is to provide rapid, evidence-based interventions to stabilize patients in critical condition, and provide support and reassurance to patients and their families during times of crisis.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment, and able to manage multiple competing demands while remaining focused on providing exceptional patient care.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed medical records, and for ensuring all patient care is in compliance with legal and ethical standards, hospital policy and procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required as is the ability to build positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues alike.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Obtain ACLS within 6 months, PALS within 9 months, TNCC within one year.

- 2 years Emergency/Critical Care or Medical Surgical Nursing
