* Job Description:
** - Specialize in delivering exceptional care to patients with musculoskeletal issues - Focus on those recovering from orthopedic surgeries or injuries - Manage chronic conditions effectively - Educate patients and families on care, prevention, and wellness - Work Night
Shifts:
3x12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) - Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required - Epic charting experience preferred
- Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (preferred) - Patient Ratios: 1:5 for Days and Nights - Daily Census: 10 patients - Total Number of Rooms/Beds: 10 - Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team:
- IV Teams - Physical Therapy - Respiratory Services - Interpretation Services - Phlebotomy - Radiology - Social Services - Rapid Response Teams - Pharmacy - Transportation
** Preferred
Skills:
** - Experience in MS/Tele and Med/Surg - Proficiency in Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response - Knowledge of Orthopedic trauma
** Clinical
Skills:
** - Use of Rapid Response/Code teams - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Care for colostomy and feeding tubes - IV therapy and phlebotomy skills including:
- Blood Product Administration - Central line blood draw - Peripheral Line Care/Management - Starting and maintaining IVs - Management of medications such as:
- Heparin - Insulin - PCA - Experience in plastics and surgical drains - Skills in non-invasive airway management, oral suctioning, and oxygen administration
