The Role
This is a 40‑hour per week position conducted in person to meet the needs of our customers.
Essential Functions- Provide superior internal and external customer service: demonstrate self‑governance, courtesy, and respect toward external customers as well as internal customers (all organization personnel).
- Process all customer transactions.
- Learn and understand bank products and services by attending staff meetings and training.
- Cross‑sell other types of products and services to customers.
- Offer “free checking” promotion through High Performance Growth (HPG).
- Work with branch management in promoting “big days” by creating a theme based on the current free gift.
- Work night drop, courier bags in dual.
- Provide extraordinary customer service; always greet customers when they enter the branch by acknowledging them with a smile or gesture.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance to accomplish in‑person contact with customers.
- Provide on‑site attendance during standard business hours.
- Perform additional duties as requested or assigned.
- Participate in community service and bank‑sponsored activities that serve and support the mission and values of CCB.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
- Complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by the due date.
- Represent the bank in a professional manner, including a professional image, confidentiality, a positive attitude, good attendance, punctuality, flexibility, and adaptability in meeting bank and customer needs.
- High degree of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to perform in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and organize heavy workload(s) and demonstrate effective time‑management skills.
- Consistently demonstrate courtesy, customer service, and tact in a fast‑paced/deadlines‑oriented environment.
- Work quickly and accurately, perform effectively under pressure, meeting multiple deadlines and making decisions based on regulations, company policy, knowledge, and experience.
- Work both independently and in a team environment.
- Understand and follow complex written and oral instructions.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Basic computer skills with working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, ten‑key, and general computer applications.
- Working knowledge of standard office equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pleasant, friendly with customers and co‑workers.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Proficient with cash and transaction handling.
The work area is indoors in a climate‑controlled shared environment with a moderate noise level.
