As a Planned Electrical Craftsperson, you'll be the go-to expert for maintaining and repairing electrical systems across our wastewater treatment sites. From pumps and motors to control panels and switch gear, you'll ensure our assets run efficiently and reliably-helping prevent environmental risks and keeping communities safe.

This role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to develop new skills in a supportive team environment.

Competitive salary: £35,777 - £42,399 per year

• Carry out planned maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment across wastewater treatment sites

• Work on pumps, motors, panels, switch gear, and specialist process machinery

• Install new electrical equipment in line with BS7671 standards

• Diagnose and repair electrical control systems

• Collaborate with other disciplines in a mobile team

• Ensure safety at all times, including compliance with RAMS and IEE regulations

• Participate in standby/call-out rota

Essentials

• 5 GCSE's (or equivalent) including Maths, English, and Science at grade C or above.

• Apprenticeship supported by relevant formal qualifications e.g. City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC/HNC/HND

• Compliant with current IEE Regs 18th Edition

• A full UK driving license is required

Desirables

• City & Guilds Inspect and Test 2391-10

• Comp Ex 09/10

• Industrial/Commercial experience required

• Experience with VSD's, soft starts and motor control systems

• Understanding of Wiring Diagrams

• Knowledge of working with Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)

• Good working knowledge of LV systems (working with 415vac down to 24vac and dc control and indication)
