Multiskilled Operative - Plymouth

We are working with a busy client to recruit an experienced Multiskilled Operative to provide maintenance work on MOD housing projects. You will be based in Plymouth but covering Devon and Cornwall where required.

This is a permanent role and offers a £34,000 salary, van and fuel card.

This position will start temp for 13 weeks through us as an agency then you will transfer onto a permanent contract.

• Responsive maintenance work in MOD properties
• Completing a variety of works in various trades – Tiling, carpentry, minor plumbing, painting, kitchen and bathroom fitting, tiling, some external work, etc.
• Minor works, small building repairs
• Dealing with customers daily
• Driving a work van safely and responsibly

• Good multi-trade experience
• Good attitude
• Honest and reliable
• Ideally social housing / MOD experience
• Will require a DBS check and a BPSS security check.

This is a really exciting opportunity for someone with skills in all trades to use that knowledge in the Plymouth and surrounding area with a busy and well liked contractor.
