Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering drawings, bar bending schedules, and technical specifications.
Cut, shape, tie, and install steel reinforcement for concrete structures such as walls, slabs, beams, columns, culverts, and heavy-duty foundations.
Assemble and fix reinforcement cages for large civil and marine structures.
Install spacers, chairs, and supports to ensure correct concrete cover in accordance with dockyard quality standards.
Work safely around cranes, lifting operations, and other heavy plant within a busy operational environment.
