The Rewards

• Total Compensation: £52,000 per annum (Base of £38,000 + 37% shift allowance).
• Shift Pattern:
  Dedicated night shift (11pm - 11am) on a rotating "3 days on / 3 days off" schedule.

As a vital member of our client's moulding production team, you will act as the primary problem solver for complex engineering challenges. Your day‑to‑day will involve:

• Technical Leadership:
  Diagnosing complex machine issues and implementing robust engineering solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Identifying equipment enhancements to boost productivity, safety, and quality standards.
• Operational Excellence:
  Ensuring all manufacturing equipment is set to validated standards and maintaining accurate maintenance logs via SAP.
• Mentorship:
  Coaching and guiding technical associates to promote high-quality workmanship and effective knowledge transfer.

• Education/
  
  Experience:
  
  A Level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) OR proven experience in a highly automated manufacturing environment.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong fault‑finding abilities. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, electrical systems, or servo technologies is highly desirable.
• IT Literacy:
  Proficiency in IT, specifically using SAP for maintenance logging and data‑driven fault diagnosis.
• Soft Skills:
  
  Excellent communication skills and the patience required to mentor less experienced team members.
