Are you a Facilities Supervisor, seeking your next contract in Devon?

My client has an immediate opportunity for a Soft Services bias Facilities Supervisor to join their team on an interim basis.

The successful applicant will support the Facilities & Workplace Manager to deliver planning, management and implementation of operational hard and soft facilities and property management services.Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of the transformation on the headquarters, with the objective to drive change and improve performance.
  • Assist the Facilities & Workplace Manager in the routine and emergency operational delivery of the facilities, property and workplace management
  • Assist the Facilities & Workplace Manager in the operational management, direction and delivery of induction of facilities and property management contractors and in house workforce.
  • Coach other members of property and safety and facilities management team when required.
  • React to daily soft FM issues arising across the corporate estate and ensure any necessary remedial action is taken.
  • Lead, manage and deliver in house and contracted support workplace moves.
  • Support the testing of weekly fire alarm systems across corporate estate.
  • Support in the management of disablement of fire alarm systems to facilitate works and implement relevant safety protocols (authorisation to work permit etc) across corporate estate.
  • Contribute to leading the planned six-monthly fire drills and development and implementation of emergency evacuation procedures.
Requirements:
  • Professional / vocational qualification relevant to facilities and workplace management or relevant experience
  • Commitment to on-going professional development to support changing FM function
  • Able to easily access buildings for survey and inspection purposes and work at height etc.
