We are recruiting a Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major high-tech facility extension in Plymouth. The project involves the construction of a semiconductor and micro-electronics facility supporting advanced technology and wearable hardware development.
This is a technically complex build requiring a Project Manager with strong experience in services-led, high-specification environments
.
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of the project, from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
Key responsibilities include:- Managing the construction of a high-tech facility extension
- Leading site teams, subcontractors and specialist consultants
- Full responsibility for programme, cost, quality and risk management
- Coordinating MEP-intensive and specialist works, including cleanroom and controlled environments
- Managing works within a live or highly controlled site
- Ensuring strict adherence to health & safety and quality standards
- Acting as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders
- Providing regular progress reporting and programme updates
You will be an experienced Project Manager with a background in complex, technically demanding construction projects

- Proven delivery of high-value construction projects as Project Manager
- Experience in high-tech, industrial, semiconductor, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or data centre environments
- Strong understanding of MEP-heavy buildings and specialist installations
- Experience working to strict quality and compliance requirements
- Excellent leadership, coordination and communication skills
- Relevant construction qualifications and professional certifications are desirable
