About the role
Are you a reliable, hands‑on worker with a can‑do attitude? Do you enjoy a mix of driving and practical outdoor work? We’re looking for a motivated Driver Labourer to join our Repairs and Voids Team, here in Plymouth.
Responsibilities- Delivering materials, tools, and plant equipment to our trade teams
- Clearing completed jobs and assisting trades when needed (e.g., fencing, roofing, concrete work, plastering, garage doors)
- Delivering and setting up dehumidifiers and Portaloo’s
- Completing legionella flushing in empty homes ready to let
- Keeping our on‑call store stocked
- Responding to real‑time requests for urgent collections and deliveries throughout the day
- No two days are the same, and you will be a vital support for both field and office teams
- Experience in a fast‑paced delivery or service role
- Confident communicator with tenants, tradespeople and office teams
- Comfortable using handheld IT for deliveries and job updates
- Experience driving a 3.5‑tonne flatbed or tipper (Transit‑type)
- Basic building/maintenance knowledge and safe manual handling awareness
- A practical, can‑do attitude and strong teamwork skills
