Position: Quality and Governance Support Facilitator

Job Summary

To be the Support Facilitator for a range of quality and governance projects and processes within the Imaging department for which the Deputy Service Line Manager is responsible for. To assist in the delivery of the existing processes and compliance requirements within the Imaging Directorate by coordinating the multi-disciplinary workforce involvement as required. The post holder will support the Deputy Service Line Manager team in the facilitation and coordination of all aspects of Quality, Clinical Governance and Clinical Effectiveness across Imaging.

This will include supporting oversight of existing processes as well as embedding good practice in line with national requirements. Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.

Main duties of the job

To provide specialist quality and governance support to the Deputy Service Line Manager (Quality and Governance), modality leads, and Imaging senior management team as required. To provide support in the ongoing implementation and day to day management of Imaging governance processes as directed the Deputy Service Line Manager and support developments in response to Trust requirements and Nation Developments (i.e. PSIRF).

To oversee the day-to-day management of the Quality Management system to ensure there is robust review processes in place for timely review of documentation and manage compliance mechanisms to demonstrate the department is working in line with local and trust wide policies. To support maintaining oversight of key elements for the governance profile for the Imaging Service Line by monitoring the following: risks and incidents reported on Datix;

clinical audit register; NICE guidance register; training and competency matrix; patient feedback – PALS, complaints, patient surveys. To provide quality, governance and administrative management support to the Imaging Quality Management Structure and associated meetings.
