Senior Physiotherapist Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital | Physiotherapy | Permanent Full Time | Part-time / Job Share hours considered

Salary range £36,750 - £46,580 pro rata per annum depending on experience
37.5 hours per week

Main duties of the job

As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will:

Deliver high quality, effective clinical care.

Ensure on-going monitoring of the standard of treatment  compliant with all professional, clinical and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processes.

To succeed as a Senior Physiotherapist, you will:

Have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, you'll be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Demonstrate evidence of a good standard of specialist Musculoskeletal experience

Demonstrate evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a  a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare  able to demonstrate excellent rehabilitation  a competent and confident IT user with strong organisation skills.

Have the ability to prioritise and deal with your varied workload in an effective and timely manner.

About us

Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital The Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital is situated next to the Nuffield Health Devonshire Gym, in Derriford, Plymouth and we have been part of the Plymouth community since 1971. We have 3 main theatres - 2 laminar flow and 1 digital, a fully JAG accredited endoscopy suite, a 35-bedded ward with one 4 bedded bay and one 2 bedded bay.

Our outpatients department has 12 consulting rooms with a dedicated ophthalmology suite and ENT service.

We carry out treatment under a range of specialities including Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery and Neurosurgery. We recently were rated in the top 50 hospitals in the country for our total hip replacement patient outcomes.

As part of the team you will have clinical support available from your Regional clinical lead along with Physiotherapists, with leadership from the management team on site.

The Role You will see a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and post operative cases, playing a key role in helping our patients achieve, maintain and recover to the level of health and wellbeing that they aspire to.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, AHPS and consultants in order to optimise the health and recovery of our patients.

The hospital is brilliantly placed to support and mentor the successful candidate for this role, alongside our academy training programmes.
