Position Overview

We are recruiting for Support Workers for our Service based in Plymouth. Are you experienced in working with individuals who have a Learning Disability and Complex needs? We are searching for a team of highly skilled and passionate individuals to assist individuals in embarking on a new chapter in life. This role is demanding yet fulfilling, playing a crucial part in helping them strive for their best life.

Responsibilities
  • Support and enable the People We Support to live their best life, delivering person-centred care aligned with our person-led support delivery model.
  • Apply your knowledge, skills, and adherence to legislation, best practices, and policies to deliver the highest quality care.
  • Help individuals engage with their interests, maintain skills, and receive personalised, person-centred care.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of relationships and connections within the local community.
  • Organise and maintain Support Plans and other necessary information to ensure effective support.
  • Notify the Team Leader/Senior Support Worker of changes in needs.
  • Safeguard the welfare of those in our care, actively promote and maintain safety.
  • Assist people to maintain and develop relationships with family, friends, and important others.
Qualifications and Requirements

Driver preferred. Satisfactory Criminal Records Checks and references required.

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Valid driver's licence is advantageous.
  • & Address check.
