ResponsibilitiesReporting to the CFO, you will be:
- Ensuring robust planning, reporting and compliance to support rapid growth and evolving business needs
- Preparing accurate weekly and monthly projections and presenting insights to the CFO and leadership team
- Providing actionable analysis to guide strategic decision‑making
- Developing and monitoring departmental budgets and creating annual financial plans and projections that align with the company’s growth objectives
- Advising on business initiatives and investment decisions to drive profitability and sustainability
- Leveraging Xero and Net Suite to streamline processes and improve financial visibility
- Ensuring systems remain scalable and secure as the company expands
- Setting clear targets, providing ongoing training and supporting onsite operational accounting staff
- Ensuring compliance with financial laws, regulations, and startup best practices
- Preparing and delivering timely financial reports and forecasts, offering clear recommendations to executives and investors to support funding rounds and strategic planning
- Proactively identifying risks and implementing solutions to prevent issues before they arise
Think you’ve got what it takes? We’re looking for an exceptionally well trained and experienced Financial Controller or Finance Manager, who possesses sound commercial judgement. You’ll be taking a lead role in ensuring the efficient financial controls across multiple entities and with multiple income streams. We’re seeking a candidate who feels as comfortable with management reporting as they do statutory accounting, leading audits, budgeting, forecasting and benchmarking.
You’ll either be a professionally qualified individual (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience and you’ll need a solid background in the preparation of financial and management reports, up to date knowledge of accounting standards and budgetary controls. You’ll be a natural leader with experience in managing your own team, developing their skills and mentoring their progress. Your skills in identifying potential improvements and leading finance projects will be demonstrable and your experience of using technology in previous roles will be obvious.
