The role:

For a leading organisation in the Information Technology and Digital sector, we are seeking a Portfolio Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with financial analysis for our Cyber PCD reporting.

Responsibilities:

Track spend across Capex, Opex, Totex
Budget setting, monitoring, variance analysis
Deep dives into financials - "follow the money"
Reforecasting (monthly, quarterly, mid‑period)
Aligning spend to ED2/ED3 roadmaps & technology plans
Working with product managers & value streams
Reporting delivery progress against transformation plans

Requirements:

Strong financial literacy (Capex, Opex, Totex)
Budget tracking and forecasting
Understanding of financial periods, actuals, re‑forecasts
Ability to challenge spend and guide non-finance stakeholders

Experience with technology / IT spend (nice-to-have)
