FP&A Accountant

The FP&A Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and analysis functions within the Accounting & Finance department. This permanent role in Plymouth offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the FMCG industry by providing insights and accurate reporting.

• Prepare and analyse financial reports to support decision‑making processes.
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes within the organisation.
• Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis against budgets.
• Support strategic business planning by providing accurate and timely financial data.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment of financial goals.
• Identify areas for cost‑saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on financial analysis.

• Be a self‑starter, resilient and have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA or qualified by experience.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analytical skills.
• Excellent knowledge of financial systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• An eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

• Competitive salary between £50,000 and £55,000 per annum.
• Hybrid working model with three days on‑site in Plymouth.
