- Lead and manage audits for a varied portfolio of clients, planning and overseeing fieldwork in line with partner direction
- Monitor progress against targets and resolve challenges proactively
- Prepare and review financial statements for both audit and non-audit clients
- Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor
- Communicate technical matters clearly and practically to clients and colleagues
- Coach and support junior staff in their development
- Undertake technical research and share insights across the team
- Contribute to departmental growth and assist with proposals for new business
- Attend networking and business events locally to represent the firm
- Travel to client sites across the region, with hybrid working arrangements available
- ACA or ACCA qualification (or be part-qualified with substantial experience)
- Strong audit experience within accountancy practice
- Experience mentoring, supervising, and reviewing the work of junior staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both with clients and team members
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional, adaptable way
- Good technical knowledge of UK Financial Reporting Standards and International Auditing Standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Caseware (advantageous but not essential)
- 36.25 hours per week (full-time), with flexible and hybrid working options
- Annual salary review
