These two roles will help builda city where every child can see a future for themselves,supported by a system which works seamlessly to spotdifficulties early, responds quickly and effectively, and
makes sure help is there as long as it’s needed.

Education, Participation & Skills to ensure wedeliver world-class learning, alternativeprovision, SEND, skills and employability.

Working closely with schools, colleges, trainingproviders and industry leaders, you’ll ensure webuild powerful, inclusive pathways that open doors foryoung people and are aligned with our growth sectors.

Candidates will bring extensive knowledge ofsystem leadership, with a track record of leading and developing a successful education and learningfunction. You’ll demonstrate a comprehensive andhighly strategic understanding of local governmentservice provision, including all statutory and commercial aspects; and an uncompromisingcommitment to partnership working, continuous improvement and safeguarding is essential.
