Year 6 Teacher – Short-Term Role (3 Days a Week)

Location: Plymouth (PL7 area)
Start Date: ASAP Contract: Short-term Days: 3 days per week Planning: None required Marking: Required

Are you an experienced Year 6 Teacher with strong SATs knowledge looking for a flexible short-term position in the PL7 area? We are seeking a confident and capable practitioner to support a Year 6 class in the run-up to SATs.

• Teaching Year 6 three days per week
• No planning – all lessons and schemes of work are provided
• Marking required to support pupil progress
• Collaborative role within a supportive KS2 team
• Short-term assignment ideal for teachers seeking reduced workload
• Immediate or near-immediate start

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong Upper KS2 experience, especially Year 6
• Confident understanding of SATs preparation
  , expectations, and assessment
• Ability to deliver high-quality teaching using provided plans
• Someone adaptable and able to build rapport quickly
