We are currently recruiting full-time Teaching Assistants to support teaching personnel across a number of primary schools in Plymouth. Several schools require long-term cover, with immediate start dates available and opportunities to move from temporary to permanent contracts.

The Role:

Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and structured lessons

Working with small groups and on a one-to-one basis

Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation

Supporting children with a range of learning needs

Promoting positive behaviour and an inclusive learning environment

Essential Requirements:

Experience working with children and/or within UK schools

A valid DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to complete a new DBS application

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

A proactive, reliable and flexible approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
