What you will do- Provide expert advice to our project teams and stakeholders on customs compliance and procedures (inclusive of import and export)
- Maintain accurate and auditable import and export records
- Screening transactions to ensure exports are compliant
- Oversee brokers customs clearances, provide clearance instructions and ensuring timely and accurate HMRC declarations
- Manage and maintain all customs special procedures (e.g., IP, OP, TA, CW, AEO), ensuring they are updated and renewed as needed.
- Complete and submit all required customs reports, quarterly filings with HMRC, including bills of discharge.
- Support regulatory (United Kingdom/U.S.) and company policy related investigation and disclosure activities, implement resulting corrective actions
- Take responsibility of documentation ensuring all processes are met with the highest standard and attention to detail

- Bachelor's degree in law or business and/or equivalent experience
- Experience with in customers is critical, knowledge of global customs and trade requirements
- General understanding of export classification and regulation
- Proven experience in documentation management within customs
- Attention to detail and the ability to work with high volumes of paperwork
- SC Clearance required
- This role will work onsite in Plymouth, can transition to hybrid working once established.
