** Willow Creek Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
** Infection Prevention (IP) Nurse – LVN
** to lead our infection control program and ensure the highest level of resident safety and regulatory compliance. If you are an LVN with strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for prevention and education, we’d love to hear from you.##
** Responsibilities
* *** Administrative Functions
*** Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, coordinate, and direct the infection control program in accordance with current CDC, OSHA, state, and federal guidelines.
* Ensure the facility follows all standard/universal precautions and infection control regulations.
* Develop, maintain, and routinely update infection control precautions and aseptic techniques to proactively correct problem areas.
* Interpret infection control policies and procedures as needed.
* Maintain a current and comprehensive reference library of infection control materials.
* Provide written and oral reports/recommendations to the Administrator regarding the effectiveness of the infection control program.
* Assist departments in evaluating and classifying routine and unusual outbreaks or infections.
* Participate in performance improvement activities involving infection control and prevention.
* Educate staff on infection prevention best practices, PPE procedures, and compliance requirements.

** Qualifications
* ** Valid California LVN license
* Previous infection prevention/control experience preferred
* Strong understanding of CDC, OSHA, and state regulatory requirements
* Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
* Ability to train and guide staff on infection control practices##
