Overview
Akkodis is seeking a Production Tech for a Contract with a client in Plymouth, MN
. You will be responsible for constructing and repairing manufacturing fixtures and automated equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assemblies.
Shift: 7 am to 3 pm
Rate Range: $38/hour to $40/hour. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities- Construct and repair manufacturing fixtures and automated equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assemblies.
- Layout and wire electrical control panels and install electronic components using soldering equipment and hand tools.
- Assemble pneumatic circuits and mechanical assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, control panel wiring, and associated devices to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with engineers and machinists to resolve assembly issues and meet project schedules.
- Verify dimensions and quality of parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in automation equipment assembly and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting control panel wiring and associated devices across voltage ranges (5
VDC to 480
VAC).

Pay Details: $38.00 to $40.00 per hour
