The Maintenance Technician II performs intermediate-level preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production machinery and facility systems. This role diagnoses mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic issues, completes repairs, supports equipment installations and upgrades, and helps improve machine uptime and reliability. Works independently on routine tasks and under guidance for complex troubleshooting.
Shift
:
Open to M-F 8-hour shift or M-TH 4x10s;
Weekend Shift: Thu-Sun 6am – 4pm.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on machine tools including cleaning, lubrication, filter changing, belt replacement, adjustments, and basic repairs
- Become more proficient with complex repairs as required
- Complete occasional CAD projects required within the Facilities and Maintenance departments
- Assist with implementation and maintenance of CMMS program
- Adhere to all quality and safety standards within the department
- Maintain clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization
- Continually seek to improve processes
- Comply with all company quality and safety standards
- Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED; vocational/technical school or an associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience (or equivalent military experience) in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Basic electrical knowledge up to 480V, experience with motors, starters, relays, and VFDs
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and basic PLC ladder logic
- Proficient with common hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (multimeter, clamp meter)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to prioritize work under production pressure
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience with injection molding machines and CNC

$26.83 - $36.83 an hour

Noise level is typically moderate.
