Who

We’re Looking For:

As a key member of the Supply Chain team, the Production Planner will successfully meet company goals and objectives while coordinating and monitoring production within the site. The Planner will lead the planning and scheduling of manufacturing, testing, and assembly plans with an emphasis on service levels and optimal inventory targets. The ideal candidate will be adept at analyzing demand forecasts, managing supply chain constraints, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet operational goals.

About the Role:
  • Maintain and optimize SAP planning systems, ensuring accurate data input for MRP and capacity planning.
  • Implement and manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes to align inventory levels with production demands.
  • Monitor, analyze, plan and execute daily schedule and rolling for a 3 month production plan with respect to global sales forecast and act as liaison between sales and production to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Analyze production capacity constraints and develop strategic plans to maximize efficiency and minimize bottlenecks.
  • Facilitate resolution of production, manpower and material shortage problems quickly.
  • Work closely with SIOP and supply chain teams to interpret demand signals and adjust planning strategies accordingly.
  • Generate insightful reports and dashboards, providing leadership with visibility into production performance and planning effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; experience in lieu of education may be accepted
  • 2 years relevant experience in materials planning, scheduling, and forecasting within a low volume high mix manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with ERP software, preferably SAP, with hands-on experience in MRP and capacity planning modules.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools is a plus. Familiarity with SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) processes.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 Quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • APICS CPIM, or similar certifications
