Daikin Applied is seeking a Sr. Azure Dev Ops Engineer
. The Sr. Azure Dev Ops Engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and managing the development, test, and delivery platforms that support cloud native application development and operations at the Applied Development Center, Daikin Applied Americas. This role will support the evolution of our Azure Dev Ops ecosystem-driving automation, improving developer experience, supporting operations, strengthening reliability, and ensuring our cloud platforms scale securely and efficiently.

• Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using industry-standard tools and services

• Write application deployment automation using industry-standard deployment and configuration tools

• Work with a team of developers to identify necessary Azure resources and automate their provisioning

• Work closely with key stakeholders to capture, analyze, and derive Dev Ops requirements

• Implement and stay abreast of Cloud and Dev Ops industry best practices and tooling

• Maintain detailed documentation of automation processes

• Mentor and guide less experienced Dev Ops team members

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or equivalent

• 2+ years of Azure Dev Ops experience

• Deep knowledge of Azure Dev Ops technologies and its tools

• Experience with ARM templates and deployment strategies

• Experience with Azure Dev Ops pipelines or equivalent and YAML

• Experience incorporating the best Dev Ops capabilities into development

• Experience with monitoring Azure PaaS applications

• Ability to work on multiple tasks at once

• Experience working in an Agile environment

• Self-directed learner

• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

• Microsoft Azure courses or certifications, including relevant course and certifications for an Azure Dev Ops role, as well as Microsoft Bicep language

• 3+ years of Azure Dev Ops experience

• Knowledge of Microsoft Bicep language

• Experience with the technical review process

• Completed relevant Microsoft Azure courses or certifications

• Experience with analysis of available technological solutions

• Experience with continuous integration

• Experience mentoring less experienced Dev Ops personnel about best practices

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,400-$147,400 + 10% bonus in Minnesota. The range displayedrepresentsthe pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
