What You’ll Do:
- Provide Hands-On Care
:
Assist individuals with daily activities including personal care, meal prep, transportation, housekeeping, and laundry while fostering independence. - Create a Safe & Welcoming Environment
:
Maintain a clean, safe space that supports personal goals. - Mentor & Guide
:
Supervise, provide positive reinforcement, and guide individuals; assist with staff scheduling, maintain programming consistency, and coordinate communication with staff and support teams. - Household Management
:
Coordinate services including individual finances, activities, program services, family involvement, educational/vocational programs, health care/nutrition, and household management.
What You Bring to the Table:
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or one year of lead staff experience, or a two-year degree in a related field
- Prior experience in Residential Services is preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Passion for Helping Others
:
Experience with mental health conditions (e.g., bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety) - Physical stamina to stay on your feet, walk, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Basic computer skills for tracking progress and documentation
- Good communication, reading, writing, and collaboration skills
