Position DetailsSterilization Microbiologist - Plymouth MN
Location:
Plymouth MN 55442
Project Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Pay Range: $30-$32/hr. on W2
- Interpret cleanroom monitoring test results including non-viable particles, viable active air, viable surface, pressure differential, and HEPA velocity
- Document and investigate excursions from cleanroom monitoring where results did not meet specification
- Document and investigate environmental disturbances that occur in the cleanroom (ex. pressure differential out of specification)
- Document and investigate product bioburden or endotoxin excursions
- Support Supplier Change Notifications (SCN) by evaluating impact of change to product bioburden, bacterial endotoxin, and sterilization
- Support changes to the manufacturing environment by writing Environmental Disturbance Reports (EDR) for planned activities (adding equipment, tables, personnel, etc)
- Conduct review of routine test results in LIMS (product bioburden, product endotoxin, environmental monitoring, etc)
- Bachelor s degree in a related scientific field plus 1+ years of related work experience with a complete understanding of specified functional areas, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Knowledge of medical device manufacturing and cleanroom environments
