Test Validation Engineer Medical device

Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Test Validation Engineer Medical device to join their team. As a Test Validation Engineer Medical device, you will be part of the Verification and Validation engineering team supporting product development and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Test Validation Engineer Medical device

Location: Plymouth, MN

Pay Range: $50 to $54 on houly W2

What's the Job?

• Support product verification, validation, and compliance testing activities on electrical and mechanical medical device components and systems.
• Develop, execute, and validate test methods, protocols, and reports to ensure product requirements are met.
• Collaborate with R&D, Project Management, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to improve testing processes and product quality.
• Perform hands-on testing of mechanical assemblies, electrical circuits, and systems in laboratory and third-party testing environments.
• Analyze test data, document results clearly, and communicate findings to support product development and compliance efforts.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience with electromechanical system and component testing, including plans, procedures, and reports.
• Proficiency with electrical and mechanical lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and measurement tools.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Hands-on approach to troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and rework of electromechanical systems.
