Base Pay Range: $80,161 - $113,093

Position Summary

We’re looking for a hard-working individual who would like to join us in developing new product concepts, as well as engineering, manufacturing, and customer support. This Electrical Engineer I position will focus on Printed Circuit Layout for product design. You’ll be a contributing member in our collaborative environment while finding a good amount of autonomy here and a hard-working group that contributes to Banner’s ongoing success and continuing growth.

In this position, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary and highly technical team, collaborating with peer engineers to prototype and develop cutting‑edge functional safety products. You will play a key role in all stages of product development, from initial technology evaluation and prototype design to successful release of final product and addressing field issues if they arise.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working both individually and collaboratively, staying on top of tasks, and making a meaningful impact across teams and projects. Below are some key responsibilities of the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and redesigning PCBs from schematics and design requirements within the Mentor Graphics Xpedition, Designer, and Design Capture software.
  • Creating Schematic Symbols, Component Geometries, and Electronic Components utilizing Mentor Graphics Xpedition and PCB Library Expert software.
  • Creating drawings, Gerber files, and other documentation for PCB fabrication, assembly, and internal verification
  • Manage product documentation including PC build procedures, bill of materials (BOMs), design verification reports, and engineering change orders (ECOs).
  • Electrical circuit design including schematic entry and full board layout.
  • Evaluation of product performance to ensure the intended requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with optical, mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers to provide globally competitive products
