In this role, you'll lead maintenance and utilities activities at our Food Application Center, ensuring equipment performs at its best. You'll take ownership of daily maintenance schedules, collaborate with internal teams and vendors, and play a key role in trial execution. This is where you'll excel
- Supervise and perform maintenance responsibilities including predictive maintenance, equipment repair and rebuild, electrical, and maintenance training programs.
- Maintain the Food Application Center, ensuring utilities and operations reduce downtime and assure successful execution of trials.
- Troubleshoot equipment, both mechanically and electrically, and read electrical diagrams.
- Update and maintain the maintenance schedule.
- Partner with the engineering team for process upgrades and continuous improvement.
- Work with 3rd‑party vendors to ensure all inspections are up to date.
- Support Food Safety and 5S activities.
- Set up, commission, align, and prepare trials in our facility.
- Support smooth running of trials, both internal and external, to support customers in new projects.
- Participate in continual learning activities and apply practical knowledge to work performed.
- Participate in all aspects of customer trials, including milling and extrusion.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Technical diploma or related degree in mechatronics or a related field.
- 5+ years of maintenance or field service experience, ideally in the food industry.
- Microsoft Office experience required.
- SAP experience is ideal.
- Experience working with PLCs, preferably Allen Bradley.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team to achieve common goals.
- Effective problem‑solving skills and ability to develop appropriate solutions.
- Ability to set clear goals and work effectively under critical and tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and other pressures.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Fluency in spoken English.
- Domestic and international travel up to 15% of the time, which may include long hours and non‑traditional work schedules.
