Automotive Technician Responsibilities
  • Perform automotive repair and maintenance according to dealership and Ford factory standards
  • Diagnose vehicle concerns using the latest diagnostic equipment and technology
  • Complete and document multi-point inspections on all vehicles
  • Communicate repair needs, estimates, and timelines with service advisors
  • Road-test vehicles to ensure repairs are completed correctly
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing Ford and technical training programs
  • Deliver excellent customer service and professional workmanship
Automotive Technician Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of dealership automotive technician experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must own tools and toolbox
  • Current Ford STARS certifications or ASE equivalents required
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Commitment to fixing it right the first time
