Overview
Our client, a leader in Medical Device Research and Development, is seeking an Administrative Operations Specialist to join their team. As an Administrative Operations Specialist, you will be part of the Research & Development support team, assisting with essential administrative functions that enable innovative medical solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Administrative Operations Specialist
Location: Plymouth, MN
Pay Range: $28.5
Responsibilities- Process invoices from external vendors, ensuring accuracy and timely payments with proper authorization.
- Manage vendor contracts across multiple geographies, collaborating with Ethics & Compliance and securing necessary approvals.
- Resolve payment issues by working closely with Procurement to correct errors and streamline processes.
- Receive, catalog, and respond to Change Control requests, prioritizing and tracking review requirements.
- Support broader R&D functions by assisting with procurement of supplies and equipment as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Minimum of 3-5 years supporting technical or research teams, ideally within a Medical Device R&D environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and ability to proactively identify and resolve process issues.
- Experience working with vendor management, contract processing, and invoice handling is highly desirable.
