Outsourced Accountant

Copeland Buhl is looking to add an Outsourced Accountant to our Outsourced Accounting service line. As an Outsourced Accountant, you will be responsible for executing clients' accounting functions as part of a team. You will work primarily with a variety of entrepreneurial business owners, maintaining regular client contact to service existing needs, maintaining a timely and accurate financial picture, providing reports, and participating in discussions.

• Utilize Quick Books Online for accounting processes.
• Review General Ledger looking for trends and variances from month to month.
• Manage accounts payable, ensuring all payments are made in a timely and accurate manner.
• Process client payroll and maintain communication with client for HR changes.
• Manage multiple client deadlines and prioritize work accordingly.
• Use a proactive approach to resolving client issues.
• Communicate results to clients or the internal team in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal team on challenges and recommend possible solutions.
• Identify compliance and reporting issues, research solutions, and seek guidance if needed.
• Maintain charge hours within firm standard range.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, easily switching between multiple clients as needed.
• Quick Books Online, Gusto, and  experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Quick Books Online, Gusto, and  experience.
