Position: ERP / IT Developer

Leapers, Inc. is a global manufacturer and distributor with a small business feel headquartered in Livonia, Michigan. Our mission is to be the ultimate solution provider across customers of different expertise, levels, and means for the shooting and hunting industry. We run over 34 top‑of‑the‑line CNC machines and a 100‑yd indoor shooting range at our home facility. The Leapers brand family includes UTG, UTG Pro, and Integrix products, with 2024 marking our expansion into billet receivers and high‑performance optics.

We are in search of an IT Developer to maintain, customize, and develop new systems that support our manufacturing, warehouse, and business operations. You will work with our Epicor ERP system, warehouse management systems built in VB and C#, and develop integrations using REST APIs across our technology ecosystem. You will be responsible for system maintenance and debugging, ensuring our critical business systems run smoothly and efficiently.

You will collaborate with IT leadership and business stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements that improve operational efficiency. You will also support system upgrades, develop custom reports, and create automation solutions that streamline workflows across departments.

You should have at least 3-5 years of hands‑on experience in software development and system integration, with strong proficiency in , C#, and .NET Framework. You should have experience working with ERP systems, preferably Epicor, and be comfortable developing and consuming REST APIs. You should be a strong problem‑solver with debugging skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues. You should be well‑organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively across IT, operations, manufacturing, and sales teams.

Role Description
  • Maintain and enhance our warehouse management systems built in  and C#
  • Develop customizations and extensions for our Epicor ERP system
  • Build and maintain REST API integrations between business systems, including ERP, WMS, e‑commerce (Magento Commerce), and CRM (Hub Spot) platforms
  • Debug and resolve system issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing fixes
  • Develop custom reports, dashboards, and data extraction tools to support business operations
  • Design and implement automation solutions to streamline workflows and reduce manual processes
  • Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
  • Perform system testing, quality assurance, and documentation
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Support system upgrades, patches, and deployment of new features
  • Provide technical support and training to end users as needed
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software development and system integration
  • Strong proficiency in , C#, and .NET Framework
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) development and maintenance
  • Working knowledge of Epicor ERP system or similar ERP platforms
  • Proven experience developing and consuming REST APIs
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with SQL Server and writing complex SQL queries
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with modern web front‑end frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue/Nuxt, and Tailwind CSS
  • Familiarity with Graph

    QL for API development
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and integration technologies (Mule, Azure Integration Services)
  • Knowledge of AI agent platforms and workflow automation tools such as n8n, Make, Claude Cursor, and Antigravity
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing or distribution operations
