Wage: $17.00/ hour

Must be dependable, able to remain alert and self-directed during quiet periods, with responsibility for verifying and escorting visitors at the data center.

• Must be able to meet applicable licensing requirements.

• Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client site, ensuring security and safety of property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking; may be required for long periods; may involve climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain.
• Physical requirements may include frequent lifting up to 10 lbs and occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
