Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to join their team at a manufacturing facility. This role is critical for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Senior Maintenance Technician Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair various manufacturing and assembly equipment.
- Perform fabrication, welding, and torching tasks.
- Rebuild tools, gearboxes, and spindles.
- Read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical diagrams.
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Troubleshoot advanced electrical systems and work with PLC functions (no programming required).
- Collaborate with team members to resolve quality issues, train other technicians, and contribute to improvement projects.
- Comply with OSHA safety standards, including Hazard Communication, Lockout/Tagout, Powered Industrial Trucks, PPE, and Ergonomics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to diagnose and repair equipment such as production machinery, testing equipment, conveyors, presses, and hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Operate powered industrial trucks, man lifts, overhead cranes, and portable cranes.
- Follow and execute written work instructions accurately.
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy and awareness of equipment operations.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a maintenance technician role within a manufacturing environment.
