Job function: Sales and Business Development
- Utilizes knowledge of target industries, equipment, and business to drive sales of LINK production.
- Develops sales plans to increase sales effectiveness, developing new business while maintaining and further developing existing business.
- Manages the North American Sales Team to ensure customer RFQs align with strategy and are addressed with enthusiasm and high quality.
- Utilizes technical knowledge of product offerings to support and build sales.
- Works closely with the Business and Technology Development Staff to achieve organic growth and pursue strategic growth initiatives.
- Assesses potential application of company products or services and offers solutions that meet customer needs.
- Researches and presents reports showing potential customers the cost benefit of purchasing company products or services.
- Drives component sales, subscription and service upgrades utilizing a repeatable business process cascaded through the Sales Team.
- Establishes lasting customer relations with all key customers providing data that drives sales initiatives.
- Negotiates appropriate pricing for equipment, the services provided, customer‑owned asset management and long‑term lease arrangements.
- Works closely with North American and global locations to identify and grow capabilities based on customer request and market demands.
- Maintains sales metrics supporting business strategies and growth opportunities.
- Ensures work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
- Possesses mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job.
- Adheres and performs all duties aligned with the core values of the LINK Group organization (Can‑Do Attitude, Courage, Commitment, Humility and Accountability).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience in sales management.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development and account management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading and managing teams.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with industrial equipment, with some military application preferred.
- Proven ability to set strategy and execute it to successful outcomes.
- Technically competent in industrial equipment sales.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Global business experience managing customers and negotiations preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and customer‑centric focus.
- Ability to learn and manage ERP systems.
- Good organizational and follow‑up skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Ability to cultivate an excellent customer experience.
- Outstanding people skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of skill sets and personalities.
- Outstanding people and team‑leadership skills including identifying talent and training, mentoring, and developing that talent to achieve individual and team success.
- Ability to translate test procedures and customer requests into testing capabilities, workload, budgets, and timelines.
- Ability to analyze data from internal operations and to develop formulas and methods to determine job costing and pricing strategies.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
