SAP Basis Technical Lead

On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a SAP Basis Technical Lead for a contract opportunity in Ann Arbor Road Plymouth, MI.

Responsibilities and duties include:

The SAP Basis Lead is responsible for the SAP software installation, upgrade, applying Support Packages, installation of add‑on software components, SAP profile parameter changes, workload analysis, system error analysis and establishing standard Basis background jobs and system health checks and monitoring. Maintains multi‑landscape environment which include SAP ERP, SPA PI, SAP Net Weaver. Maintains user authorization for all employees. Configures the SAP Net Weaver environment.

Maintains ORACLE as back end for SAP system. Configures and installs SAP Basis components, provides post implementation support, documentation creation and maintenance. Installs and maintains systems according to SAP architecture specifications. Ensures the SAP methodology for all SAP infrastructures is followed. Implements network standards and procedures as they relate to SAP systems. Assesses impact of new SAP releases to current system landscape environments, designs solution and assists production support teams.

• Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience with SAP Basis Administration.
• Hands‑on experience with Net Weaver.
• Experience in JAVA‑based SAP systems is highly recommended.
• Strong working experience supporting SAP installations on Windows.
• Strong team building skills, with ability to build quick and effective work rapport with others.
• Solid verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• A high standard for work ethic and quality is required.
• Knowledge of infrastructure processes & procedures.
