About the role:
The primary responsibility of the Network Administrator II is to support and maintain core voice and data network infrastructure and operations. This position administers, configures, and operates Microsoft 365 and related cloud services, ensuring effective integration with on-premise systems and end-user environments. The Network Administrator II is responsible for monitoring cloud and virtual infrastructure, integrating third-party PC, Mac, server and cloud solutions, and maintaining VMware virtual environments and server backup processes.
This role is accountable for network availability, service level commitments, and supporting the organization’s communication and connectivity needs.
This position has a starting hourly rate of $39.57
, but your offer amount may be increased with relevant work experience and transferable skills.

A Day in the life of a Network Administrator II can look like:
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across network, cloud, and infrastructure systems.Take a lead role in the development of network design and architecture to meet the credit union’s security, availability, redundancy, scalability, and performance goals.Configure and maintain routing, NAT, firewall, and VPN connectivity in collaboration with Information Security and other technology teams.Monitor production voice and data network services and proactively assess network, cloud, and infrastructure capacity and performance to ensure reliability and continuous improvement.Administer, configure, and operate Microsoft 365 services and associated platforms, including Active Directory and cloud-based identity integrations.Maintain physical host and VMware virtual infrastructure and perform and maintain server backup operations.Maintain patch management and software/firmware upgrade procedures for critical network infrastructure.Implement network capabilities that support enterprise disaster recovery processes and business continuity plans.Develop and support service level agreements, network service availability metrics, and management reports.Engage vendors and third-parties to resolve issues and analyze design options.Participate in and lead technology-focused initiatives that align business and IT goals while improving infrastructure capabilities, reliability, and services.Develop and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures for supported systems and infrastructure.Develop, update, and implement IT policies and procedures.Perform other duties as directed by leadership.What you bring to the table:
High school diploma or equivalent.4 years of network administration or engineering experience.3 years of experience in Microsoft 365 and Azure administration.Broad knowledge of network design and troubleshooting concepts, including an in-depth knowledge of Cisco and Meraki networking technologies.In-depth knowledge of network firewall administration.In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory configuration.You might also have:
