GeneralPurpose
The Resident Care Director is responsible for providing overall leadership and management of the health and well-being of the residents within the community. Responsibilities include but not limited to all clinical programs, quality assurance and regulatory compliance; assisting in the recruiting, hiring and training of clinical team members, completing clinical staffing, scheduling and daily reviews of timekeeping reports. Responsible for team member engagement, performance management and evaluations.

- Maintains current state license as a Professional Registered Nurse per state regulations
- Experience in assisted living, home health or long term care industries
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstration of competence in assessment skills, injections / medication administration, follow up and triage
- Minimum one (1) year nursing management experience including hiring staff, coaching, performance management daily operations supervision, discipline and counseling
- Ability to handle & prioritize priorities
- Ability to delegate assignments to the appropriate individuals based on their skills, roles and interests
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations
- Competent in organizational, time management skills
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
- Demonstration of proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office and Community applications with the ability to learn new applications
- As applicable, all Community team members who drive a Community vehicle must review and sign the Driver job description
- Ability to work weekends, evenings & flexible hours as needed for resident care/services, must be available to our customers at peak service times and as needed
