Position Responsibilities

The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:

• Manage overall accounting processes and functions
• Manage staff, including goal setting and performance reviews
• Overseeing routine department activities to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time
• Maintaining accurate and complete financial, employee, and client records
• Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial information to management
• Manage monthly, quarterly and year end closing process and reporting
• Improve procedures and processes.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Essential

Skills and Experience:

• 4 - 6 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
• Extensive knowledge of accounting and management principles and accounts payable/receivable procedures
• Advanced abilities in MS Excel
• Ability to analyze information and processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• ERP Accounting software experience
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills
• Motivation to develop and maintain internal and external relationships
• Commitment to ethical behavior with a willingness to adhere to all company policies
• Japanese language

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
